Duck Quesadillas

    • Duck breast
    • 1 tsp of chili powder
    • 1 tsp of ground cumin
    • 1 tsp of black pepper
    • 1 tbsp of olive oil
    • 1 packet of onion mixture
    • 1 jalapeño, cut into thin semi circles
    • sour cream
    • tortillas
    • shredded Mexican cheese
    • Mesa Reserve Syrah


    • Salsa
    • Guacamole
    • Spanish Rice


    • Cut duck breasts into 1/2 inch cubes.
    • Marinate them for 15 min in chili powder, ground cumin, black pepper, and olive oil.
    • Sauté onion mix and 1 jalapeño in olive oil.
    • Add duck cubes into the onion mixture and sauté until desired temp.
    • Put thin layer of sour cream on tortilla and add duck mixture on top. Cover with shredded cheese and cover with another tortilla.
    • Place it in a dry skillet and toast both sides.
    • Remove from pan and quarter to eat.
    • Serve with salsa, or guacamole, or sour cream and side of Spanish rice.
    • Serve with a glass of Mesa Reserve Syrah.
