Hearty Harvest Meal

  • The flavors in this hearty harvest meal are geared perfectly for our delicate Pinot Noir. 

    Serves 2 people

    • 1 lb Sirloin pork
    • 2 peeled garlic cloves
    • 1 c white rice
    • 6 mushrooms
    • 1/2 c balsamic vinaigrette
    • 1 tbsp soy sauce
    • olive oil
    • lemon pepper & garlic salt, to taste


    • In a pot add 4 cups of water, rice, & garlic clove, then cook on low covered until almost all water has evaporated (approx 40 mins), 
    • While rice cooks, marinate meat with balsamic vinaigrette, soy sauce, lemon pepper, & garlic salt. Let it marinate for 30 minutes.
    • After rice is cooked let it sit covered with no heat
    • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and add mushroom caps. Cook for 10 mins, turning every minute or so 
    • After 10 mins add meat to pan, continue to cook mushrooms with meat.
    • Cook until parameter of steak is starting brown (~5 mins), then flip & cook for another 5 minutes
    • Remove steak from pan and let it sit for 5 mins. Then cut into strips
    • Plate rice, mushrooms, & pork. Enjoy with a glass of Pinot Noir
